Rental Program
Babys Are For Real Rental program is designed to provide teens and adults with a realistic idea of the demands of parenting. Participants care for a lifelike simulator baby that cries, coos, burps and requires regular feedings and diaper changes throughout the day and night. Having a baby is an enriching experience, however it's important to consider when the right time is to take on that responsibility. The Simulator Baby provides a valuable, hands-on tool with features that mimic many aspects of infant care. It offers teens and adults a meaningful opportunity to see how a baby impacts daily routines, responsibilities, and overall lifestyle.

What They Will Learn
How It Works
The Simulator Baby responds to care by crying, cooing and burping, offering a highly realistic experience. It weighs between 5 to 6 lbs, measures 20 inches in length, is anatomically correct and is available in three ethnicities.
NOTE: The Simulator Baby is an educational tool and Not a toy. It is intended for use by adults and children over 12 years of age.
The teen/adult will discover both the rewards and challenges of caring for a baby. They will learn that babies cry for many reasons and that meeting their needs requires around-the-clock attention. This experience also provides valuable insight into how having a baby can significantly change daily life and responsibilities.
The Simulator baby cry for four main reasons: it needs to be fed and burped, requires a diaper change and needs attention. It will also cry if it is handled improperly or placed in an incorrect position. Over a 48-hour period, there are approximately 25-27 care sessions, each lasting between 5 and 30 minutes. During each session, the teen/adult must identify the reason for the crying and use the appropriate care key to soothe the baby.

Parenting is Forever
You can schedule your rental online or by phone. If you have any questions before renting feel free to call us. Simply choose your rental dates, select the baby you want, and pick a delivery date (please allow 3-5 days for delivery). Note: Rental periods cannot end on a Sunday or Holiday. You will pay for the rental and one-way shipping at checkout. Return shipping will be paid by you when sending the baby back. After we receive your payment, we will email you a rental contract. Once the contract is signed, your simulator baby will be shipped to you along with instructions. When the rental period ends, pack up the baby and all the supplies in the same 2 boxes and return it back via UPS or FEDEX ground. Rentals are available in the United States, except Alaska and Hawaii.
Rentals are available for teens and adults.
This program helps particpants gain emotional, physical and social insight into the responsibilities of parenthood.
A Babysitting option is included, allowing you to pause the baby when needed. You can also use this experience to introduce the baby to household pets. Please note, the baby will cry if it is abused, mishandled or not held properly.
